Martian Marathon 5K

Doug and I ran a 5K together on the weekend. It was a local run in Dearborn starting from Ford Field. I finished in 30:22 and Doug finished in 30:00. I let him win (ha, ha)!

I finished 12 out of 49 for my age group. We ran with Bonnie DeRoo who won 3rd in her age group for the 10K and Bryce (5K) and Melissa Miller (10K). It was a chilly morning.

Murder Mystery Dinner and Valentine's Day

We also won a dinner for 2 on Valentine's Day at Longhorn Steakhouse. We were treated like royality and even had our own waitress!

We went to a Murder Mystery Fundraising Dinner for Dearborn Christian School. It was set in the 20's on a cruise ship.

First Day of School

Today was the first 1/2 day of school for Josh and Kellie. Josh is going into 1st grade and Kellie started 3-year old pre-school at Dearborn Christian School. Josh's teacher is Mrs. Duck and Kellie's teacher is Miss Dee. They were both excited to start back at school. Josh came home with homework that was due in 1 week and had it completed before dinner :)

Big news!

I know I haven't updated this in a while and I have a ton of summer pics to add but last night was a big night for our family. Josh learned to ride his 2-wheeler without training wheels. I promised him that I would buy him a Nintendo DS once he learned. We went right from the park to Target.
